Overview
We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This website can be used without providing any personal data: you can browse every page without registering, and no data is required beyond what your browser transmits technically. Personal data is only processed if you actively send it to us, for example through the contact form or the support assistant, and always on a clear legal basis and only for the stated purpose.
Controller
Responsible within the meaning of Art. 4(7) GDPR: Strype, Fabio Rinaldo Roloff & Til Demmer, Knappenstraße 14, 57581 Katzwinkel, Germany. Email: strype@outlook.de. You can contact us at any time about this privacy policy or your rights.
Server log files
When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically records data that your browser transmits: IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, referrer URL, browser type and version, and operating system. This data is processed to deliver the site, to ensure stability and security, and to detect abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure, error-free operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is not merged with other data sources and is deleted or anonymised after a short period.
Contact form & support enquiries
If you contact us through the form or by email, we process the name, email address and message content you provide, plus the category of your enquiry. This data is used exclusively to process and answer your request, based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual or contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for purely organisational enquiries. Your enquiry is sent to our mailbox and is never passed to third parties for advertising purposes.
AI support assistant
The support assistant on this website is powered by an external AI service. Your message is transmitted to that provider for the sole purpose of generating a reply and processed there for that purpose. Please do not enter any sensitive personal data (e.g. health data, payment details or passwords) into the chat. If you would rather not use the assistant, simply contact us by email.
Storage period
We delete personal data as soon as the purpose of processing no longer applies; enquiries usually after they have been handled; unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. commercial or tax law) require longer storage.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights regarding your personal data. To exercise them, an informal message to us is enough:
- Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR): information about the data we store about you.
- Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): correction of inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR): deletion of your data.
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR): instead of erasure where applicable.
- Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR): receipt of your data in a machine-readable format.
- Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): objection to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3) GDPR): with effect for the future.
- Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR): for us: Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Rheinland-Pfalz.
